Hi Rseven User,
Firstly, we at Rseven would like to thank you for using our service, the most complete online mobile backup & sync service that caches your life. In this inaugural newsletter, we’d like to share with you what we’ve been busy with in the past few months. We hope that these new features will be useful tools in your daily tasks.
1. Call and Location Recording
Rseven can record all your incoming and outgoing calls, and have it played back on our website rseven.com. To activate this feature, open the Rseven application in your phone, go to Options > Settings > Record calls, and set your preference. You have the choice to record all calls, prompt to record, or turn it off. Rseven automatically records the location where you made and received calls and SMS. The location info can be seen in the details of those calls and SMS (in Timeline view at rseven.com).
2. Match your phone contacts with your Facebook friends
Do you know that you can match your phonebook contacts with your Facebook friends? You can do this by selecting a contact from your contact list at rseven.com, and clicking Match to select which of your Facebook friends this contact is. This will automatically set their Facebook profile photo as the contact photo in your phone.
3. Share contacts and items using Groups
Using Group features, you can create, manage and invite other people to join a Group. You can share contacts, images, calendar events and other items with Group members. A shared contact and calendar will appear in the group member’s phone when they next sync to Rseven.
As we value your feedback on Rseven, we’d appreciate it if you’d take the time to email your suggestions (or complaints) to support@rseven.com. Once again, thanks for lifecaching with us.

how i get rid off the anoyng beep when recording. Is VERRY ANOYNG. Plz
The beep is part of the feature of Rseven in order to comply with the law of some states/countries that requires the other party to be notified that the conversation is being recorded.
So at the moment we have no plans to remove it, sorry.
What if i live in a country that does not require this beep? Maybe there can be a “I agree” part that claims that you can cancel the beep only if you live in a country that requires this. your product is great, useful and very easy, but i think the “beep” issue is a big downfall for allot of your potential customers.
Dont get me wrong, but at every 15 sec that beep is verry anoyng when u have a 3 hours conversation. You should think to put it at 30 sec or make in that way for us to not have it if in that country is not required. This beep, keeps me to not go at Rseven Pro account. sorry
I loved rseven when I installed it but everybody was complaining about this beeping sound. It is a shame as it is a service myself and my friends would use and pay for. Please destroy the account linked to my email. Let me know if you ever launch a European service without the beep and I will sign up again.
Phillip.
Ok, we hear you. The beep removal is the most requested feature at the moment and we will do it. It’s under development now and will be incorporated in the next version update.
Thanks Hisyam! i will definitely get the pro version once the beep is gone. When do you think the new version will be ready?
Hi ,
Actually I’m here not to comment about this post.
It’s unbeliveable but I didn’t find any place at RSeven website to ask for help.
I’m a Rseven subscriber (Payable one) and can’t download my contacts , which I lost, back to my Nokia E71. I have 487 contacts at Rseven and when I try to download them back to phone , sometimes it show error and sometimes it downloads just part of the contacts…So, I have always to re-start and it’s never successful.
I just hope someone from Rseven support can read this a try to help me urgently !
Thanks,
Ricardo
Hi Ricardo
We’ve emailed you back on June 15th regarding the problem, can you confirm that everything is OK now?. Our support email is support@rseven.com, it’s shown on top of the Help page.
Any news about the beep removal? . C`mon guys, a lot of ppl wait for that feature to remove it in Europe and is taking too long to wait for …
Hi Mossad
We’re still working on it. The beep is actually built into the Nokia API for recording calls & can’t be removed. We’re trying a few things but doesn’t seem to work perfectly. Now we’re trying to develop our own recorder program from scratch and see whether it works.
The Rseven Windows Mobile app can record calls without beep if you’re willing to switch from Nokia. The Android app also does call recording but the sound from the other side is very faint, due to the APIs not working as described. We tested on Android 2.2 but the problem still persists.
We know that call recording is the most popular feature of Rseven & we want to make it as good as possible.
Hi Hisyam
Be sure, once the beep is gone and all works good, i`m going to Pro account . and i belive a lot of ppl will do the same. Besides, that will make yours prog verry popular across the symbian community. Hurry up
